As I am becoming a more thorough teacher, I find that while there are common lessons to be learned by all students, some have their unique challenges. \u00a0Learning how to play the oboe can really get a player to take a good look at themselves and explore how they learn in order to behave their\u00a0way to success. \u00a0The articles that I write are designed to help provide some perspective to assist the student in a variety of ways of how to learn those lessons as well as how to become more connected to self, to the music, as well as to those that listen to them perform as they play. \u00a0Over time, technical skills dramatically improve, higher levels of patience, calmness and joy are achieved, which, in turn, increases the players willingness to want to continue to create their unique performance experience\u00a0on such a beautiful instrument. \u00a0Joy and satisfaction creates more joy and satisfaction!<\/p>\n
